Shivamogga Convention – Accommodation availability

The following are the type of accommodation available in and around the Kuvempu University (KU). If needed, you could email us dialoguesonknowledge@gmail.com your requirements with details, and we can assist you with the booking.

I. Inside the University Campus:

1. The University Guest House.
Will be allotted to the contributing participants on a priority basis. Nominal charges

2. Women scholars hostel.
2-3 seater shared rooms with attached bath, around 10-12 in number, are available for women only. Nominal charges.

II. Outside the University Campus:
 

1. Shree Laxmidevi residency, 10-12 mnts away. Near Bhadra Dam. Lodge Type, no catering. 2/3 seater rooms with attached bath. Rs. 800/- per bed.

2. Sriganth Nature Stay Resort, 10-12 mnts away.

Only 3/4/5 seater shared dormitory type rooms, with attached bath, available. Rs.1000/- per bed. Catering provision available.
 

3. The following hotels in Shivamogga town, 30-35 mnts away, Rs.3000-4000/- per night ,are felt to be reasonably good :

III. Some more lodge type accommodation are also available near the University Gate, at around Rs.700/- per bed. No catering.
